Italy looked into his eyes, and hesitantly proceeded into his friend's open arms, only to slowly shift away. "I can't..." Italy breathed. Holy Rome watched Italy, tears welling in his eyes. "Italy. The only thing I want in the whole entire world is to be with you. To protect you. I can protect you, and I will protect you."

WHEW!!! I had this idea from I have no clue... But it just popped up in my noggin and I awwed at it and took a picture and made a cute little story thing and BAM! You're looking at it.

To tell you the truth, the negotiations between the Holy Roman Empire and the Italians was mostly war and war. The HRE destroyed Milan to force the Pope to recognise the Holy Roman Emperor. But I still like this pic, its still cute >w<

it's really the only yaoi I ever saw and liked...must be because italy is just like a little girl so you hardly notice the diffrence...
